Experience the soul of the tribe and cowboy way of life: Bead-Working, Leather Crafting, Singing & Storytelling, Traditional Dance, Art, Riding, Roping,  Working Cattle, Make Your Brand,…and much more.

Oklahoma is a state of beautiful contrasts: from the rugged Wichita mountains to the lush pine forests of the Green Country, you’ll find nature on a big scale. Land grabs, homesteaders, oil booms and the Depression all happened here and the state is traversed by over 400 miles of the historic Route 66. The word "Oklahoma" comes from two Choctaw Indian words meaning ‘red man’, and the state’s native pride shows in the many historic sites, as well as the modern Cherokee Heritage Center and National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.

At this ranch American Indian Artisans and Cowboys will be on hand to provide you with a journey back in time with a people who remember and practice the ways of their ancestors. Moses Little Bear & Family will be in full regalia with TMR Wranglers doing some singing & story-tellin’ and authentic local Cowboys showing off their “Cowboy” roping & riding skills to show our new friends a warm Oklahoma welcome!

Tiger Mountain Ranch is located in 923 acres of natural habitat. The wranglers here will show you the cowboy way, from horseback riding to shooting the guns of the Old West, roping, cattle ranching, or learning to live off the land. Take on the job of ranch apprentice and try your ranch hand at cattle checking for new calves, rotating cattle to new pastures and prowling for strays.

Tiger Mountain Ranch is sacred ground to all who visit. Legend tells of a vision quest by a great Chief when he brought his tribe to settle from the Trail of Tears, during this vision quest a great Tiger came to him. From that time on it has been known as Tiger Mountain. This mountain was the place that the Muscogee “Creek” Nation settled until all the people arrived, and then they left in clans to create their tribal family grounds throughout the newly allotted “Indian Lands.” Tiger Mountain is also where the legendary Chitto Harjo (Crazy Snake) made his valiant last stand against the “white mans” government. This battle took place on this mountain.

Henryetta,  is known as the home of Legends, Heroes and Cowboys…
With famous bit and spur makers such as Dee Boone, and Legendary cowboys like Jim Shoulders, Terry Don West, Mike Johnson, & Betty Roper from our neighboring city of Checotah to name only a few, Henryetta and our area of Green Country is the natural choice to experience the authentic Cowboy or Native experience!

Explore- 1,000 acres of natural habitat that is home to many of nature's creatures: Beaver, Raccoon, Squirrels, White-tail Deer, Wild Turkey, and don't forget the evening serenades of our Coyote friends. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture some of the prettiest Scenery & Wildlife Oklahoma has to offer!

Hiking- on Tiger Mountain is amazing but we like to take it to the next level! Moses is your guide to Streaming! That's hiking through that creeks and streams that cross the ranch and allows you a view of nature that will possibly change your way of thinking about it!

Lake, Ponds & Streams- activities abound as you explore and experience our 25 acre private lake with kayaks, fishing, and swimming. Streams and 11 ponds located throughout the ranch provide wonderful hiking adventures that you can experience during your visit with us at Tiger Mountain. Most of the ponds are year round and provide an active fishing experience with the feeling of wilderness just a few minutes hike/drive away from your accommodation.

The ranch is affiliated with Moses Little Bear (of Comanche, Cherokee and Chumash descent) and his family, bringing you the experience of Native American arts and history which he has learnt from his family and other elders met along the pow-wow trail. Meet the descendants of the many legends of the Old West, learn how to throw a tomahawk, shoot a traditional Longbow, or play the Native American Flute. The more artistic can try bead-working, gourd crafting, dance and art.

Ranch facilities include a jacuzzi hot tub, bar, games room, private screening room, billiards, darts, board games, big screen TV and a lake for swimming, fishing and kayaking. Regular activities include skeet shooting, archery, hiking and fishing.

Children under 12 are able to ride at the ranch if they pass an onsite assessment, so they need to be fairly experienced riders.
